Bread potato roll/ rolls recipe / quick and easy Indian snack recipe / simple vegetarian appetisers recipe by Cook with Sonali

Today I am going to make bread with potato stuffing roll. So let’s  quickly go through the ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. Bread slices
  2. 2 medium size boiled and mashed potato
  3. 1 medium size chopped onion
  4. Chopped green chili
  5. 1 medium size chopped capsicum
  6. 1 medium size chopped tomato
  7. ½ tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  8. ½ tbsp of cumin powder
  9. ½ tbsp of mango powder
  10. 2/3 tbsps of chopped coriander leave
  11. 1 tbsp of butter
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 2 tbsp of corn flour
  14. Breadcrumbs
  15. Oil as needed

That’s all you need to make bread potato rolls. So let’s get started with the dish.

  1. In a frying pan add oil and let it hot. Once the oil is hot then add chopped onion, chopped green chili, chopped capsicum, and chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Stir it well and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Now time to add all spices like cumin powder, mango powder, and chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste. Mix it well. Now add mashed potato into it. Mix it nicely.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of butter. Mix it well and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Potato mixture is ready, let it cool down completely.
  6. Now trim the edges of bread slices. And keep it aside.
  7. In a bowl add water and corn flour mix it well.
  8. Now take some portions of potato mixture and place it into centre of the bread.
  9. Now roll it tightly and cover it with corn flour water. Like wise I will make all the rolls.
  10. Now lightly dip the roll into corn flour water then roll it out with bread crumbs. I will do the same thing with other rolls.
  11. Now see roll is ready for deep frying.
  12. Heat oil in Kadai. Once the oil is enough hot,  place the roll one by one. Cook it in medium to high flame until it turns golden brown.
  13. Once both the sides turns golden brown then take it out in paper towel so all excess oil is soaked up.
  14. Now see delicious bread potato roll is ready. Serve it hot.
