Chilli soya recipe

Welcome to Cook with Sonali. Today I am going to make Chili soya chunks or chili soyabean

So let’s quickly go through the ingredients

  • 1 cups of socked soya chunks
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped capsicums
  • Chopped green chilli
  • Chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsps of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • ½ tbsp of vinegar
  • 2 tbsps of corn flour
  • ½ tbsp of black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsps of oil

That’s all you need for the chili soya. So let’s get started with the dish.

Boil water in a bowl add salt then add soya into it. Cook for about 5-6 minutes. Once the soya is cooked I will strain it and let it cool down. When the soya is completely cool down then add red chili powder, and ginger garlic paste, corn flour, mix all ingredients nicely and keep it aside for about 10 minutes.

Now heat oil in fry pan, once the oil is hot add soya. Stir it well and cook for about 5-6 minutes until it turns golden brown. Once the soya is golden brown I will take it out on a plate.

Again heat oil in the same fry pan. Once it is hot add chopped garlic stir it well. Now add chopped onion, chopped capsicum, and green chilies stir it well and cook for about few minutes.

Now time to add all the sauces like tomato sauce, chili sauce. Soy sauce, vinegar and mix it well. Cook for about another 2-3 minutes. Then add little bit salt and black pepper powder. Stir it well.

Now I will add liquid corn flour into it. Stir it well and cook for about another few minutes. Once it done I will sprinkle some spring onion on the top of the chili soya.
