Egg Chili Recipe
Today I am going to make Chili Egg. It is most popular Indo Chinese delicious mouth watering recipe. So let’s quickly go through the ingredients
• Hard boil eggs
• Cube size onion
• Cube size green, red, yellow bell pepper
• Chopped beans
• Spring Onion – for garnishing
• 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
• 1 tbsp of chopped ginger
• Chopped green chili
• Red Chili flakes
• 2 tbsps of soy sauce
• 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
• 2 tbsps of tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp of vinegar
• 1 tbsp of red chili powder
• 1 tbsp corn flour
• Salt to taste
• Oil for deep fry
• Corn flour
That’s all you need for the chili egg. So let’s get started with the the dish. At first take a bowl add corn flour, salt, red chili powder mix them nicely. Now add little bit water and make a thick smooth paste until no lumps are there. Pore the egg slices into the mixture coat it nicely with the mixture.
Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is enough hot then add egg into it. Cook it until golden brown. Once it done I will take it out on pepper towel.
Heat oil in a large skillet. Once the oil is hot add chopped ginger and garlic.Stir fry over high flame for about few minutes until light golden brown then add onion, all bell pepper, chopped green chili, and chopped beans.
Now time to add soy sauce, tomato sauce, chili garlic sauce, vinegar then mix them well. Stir fry over high flame for about 2-3 minutes. Vegetables are should be crunchy not over cooked. Now I am going to add fried eggs. Stir it well.
Meanwhile take a bowl add 1 tbsp corn flour add little bit water mix them nicely until no lumps are there. Now I will add liquid corn flour into it. Mix it nicely then add red chili flakes and spring onion. Chili Egg is ready. Take it out on a plate.
