Kadai Mushroom Recipe
Hi welcome to Cook With Sonali. Today I am going to make Mushroom Masala / kadai mushroom. It is very easy and simple recipe to make at home, and very similar to kadai paneer. The recipe is called kadai mushroom because it is prepared in kadai.
So let’s quickly go through the ingredients
- 200 grams mushroom
- Onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, green chilli paste
- Cube size onion
- Cube size green, red, yellow bell peppers
- Chopped garlic
- ½ tbsp of cumin powder
- ½ tbsp of coriander powder
- 1 tbsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- ½ tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of kasuri methi
- 2 tbsps oil
- salt to taste
Now let’s get started with the dish. At first heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot then add onion, ginger garlic tomato paste and all the spices like cumin powder and coriander powder, garam masala turmeric little bit salt and stir fry over medium flame until the oils start coming out .
Once the oil comes up on the top of the Surface then I will add onion, and all bell peppers. Stir it well. Then add mushroom and mix it nicely. Cover with lid and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
Meanwhile I will take another kadai add butter once the butter is melted then add chopped garlic kasuri methi. Stir it on medium flame for about few minute until light golden brown.
Once the garlic is ready I will pour it on the top of the mushroom. Kadai mushroom is ready Now I will take it out in a bowl.
