Vegetable Sandwich

Welcome to Cook With Sonali. Today I am going to make vegetable sandwich. It is healthy, tasty and delicious recipe. This can be perfect for your kid’s lunch boxes as well.

So lets quickly go through the Ingredients.

  • Bread slices
  • Butter
  • 1 medium size boil potato
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Shared cheases
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped capsicum
  • Chopped carrot
  • Chopped tomato
  • Chopped cabbage
  • Chopped green chilli
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

That’s all you need for the vegetable sandwich. So let’s get started with the dish.

Vegetable Sandwhich

Heat oil in kadai. Once the oil is hot add onion, green chilli, salt and sauté for few minutes then add boil potato into it.  Mix it nicely and cook for about 3-4 minutes then take it out on a plate.


Again heat oil in kadai once the oil is hot add onion, ginger paste and green chilli. Sauté for couple of minutes. Now  add all the vegetables, salt, lemon juice and mix it well. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Once the vegetables are cooked I will take it out on a plate.


Meanwhile toast the bread then apply butter each slices of bread then add potato mixture, cook vegetables, and shredded cheese, then cover with another piece of bread.

Now add some butter on tawa then add sandwich bread into it. Cook for few second then flip it and cook it again.

Now vegetable bread sandwich is ready. Cut into diagonal pieces.
