Schezwan fried rice

Schezwan fried rice

Today I am going to make schezwan fried rice. It is Indo Chinese delicious famous recipe.

So let’s have look at the ingredients.

 

For the rice we need

 

  1. 1 cup of basmati rice
  2. 3 cup of water
  3. ½ tbsp of salt
  4. 1 tbsp of oil

 

For the schezwan rice we need

 

  1. Chopped ginger
  2. Chopped garlic
  3. Chopped green chillies
  4. Chopped onion
  5. Chopped carrot
  6. Chopper bell pepper
  7. Chopper beans
  8. 4 tbsp schezwan sauce
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  11. Or olive oil

That’s all you need for the schezwan fried rice.  So let’s get started with the dish.

 

I am using this schezwan sauce which is available on super market . You can make at home if you need the recipe of schezwan sauce let me know in comment section below.

At first boil water in a bowl add little bit salt , and little bit vegetable oil . Then add soaked basmati rice into the water.Which I already soaked it for about 30 minutes before.

 

Cook it medium flame for about 8 -10 minutes until the rice is 90 percent cooked . See rice is almost cooked . Once the rice is 90 percent cooked then I will strain it.

 

Heat oil in large skillet. Once the oil is enough hot then add chopped ginger, garlic, and green chilli. Stir it well.

Now I am going to add all the veggies like chopped onion, chopped carrot, chopped bell paper, chopped beans, mix all ingredient nicely.

 

Cook it in high flame for about 2 minutes. Once the vegetables are cooked then add schezwan sauce . Stir it well and cook for few seconds.

Meanwhile crack the egg into tawanow scrambled the egg with your spatula. Now I will go to add the vegetables. Stir it well .

 

If you want veg schezwan rice don’t add egg . If you want mix schezwan fried rice then you can add egg, shrimp, etc .

 

Now I will go to add cooked rice into it mix it well and cook for about  2-3 minutes.

 

Schezwan fried rice is almost ready . Now I will garnish with some spring onion and take it out on a plate.
